Today in class we got our first assignment. We're supposed to form a band and perform Duffy's 'mercy'. I love this song, because it's fun to listen and dance to. Eva and I started rehearsing on the piano/keyboards. I haven't played any piano in 2 years, so I forgot how to play it. Eva luckily helped me. Soon I stopped the piano because I noticed the guys were practicing with the guitars and bass-guitar. Thomas and Mr. Wisser taught me how to play Mercy on the bass-guitar. I really enjoy playing it, so that's what I'll probably be doing within the next few weeks in the assignment process. We haven't formed a band yet, but we need to find someone who sings, does second voice, plays piano, plays guitar, drums and plays the bass. In my eyes it's a real fun project and I hope the final result will turn out awesome. Monday is the first lesson after the weekend again, and I'm very curious what we'll be doing that day. So far, I really like our music classes.
Especially the one on Tuesday, because it's the last lesson of the day and by playing music, the day ends with fun things to do and we're able to stay longer to practice some more.
