Today we got our second assignment assessed. Within.. about 2/3 weeks we need to write our own song. Eva and I decided to work together. I already wrote multiple songs in my life, so we sort of decided to choose a song I'm working on any way. It's called 'it was you and me'. I basically started writing this during the summer vacation and the first weeks of school. Anyway, I 'of course' play the guitar, and Eva will also play the guitar. First we thought, well Eva plays the piano, so let's do that. That didn't work out though, then we thought 'the Bass guitar!'.. nah. Now we decided she will also play the guitar. I'm teaching her the chords, and the strumming pattern. We let Mister Weisser listen to what we had so far, he liked it! He gave us the feedback of changing the rhythm The picture below shows what we did this lesson. The first two verses are the ones I already wrote my self and the 'Pre-chorus' is what Eva and I did today. There will be no 'next lesson' because after the mid term break, we have to perform the song. Eva and I will work on it in the vacation. I'm really excited and It's a fun project. A bit scary as well, since I never showed any of my songs to other people then family.
