Goldilocks musical writing

 In The last couple of weeks, before the Christmas break. We got assigned a new assignment to practise for the big project coming up. We had to write a short song for a particular piece in the play ‘Goldilocks’. This sounded as a very fun project. However, I was ill the week we got this assigned so I did not really get what we needed to do at first. Luckily I had my two lovely friends Eva and Thomas to help me out understanding this project. The very next lesson, we started reading the script with the class. This was so much fun. I got to play the ‘mummy bear’. I loved doing this. The next class, we started composing our songs. I worked together with Thomas and Eva.. which could have been chosen more clever. During this project I found out that I’m able to work with Eva pretty well. But not really with Thomas. We decided I could make lyrics, but tjat Thomas would make the sound. He unfortunately did not do so, so we ended up with absolutely NOTHING. Which was kind of embarrassing…  When looking back to this project, I think we could have done so much better! I would have actually liked to perform something and work on if efficiently. However did this not happen and all I can say now is: I learned from this, and I can’t wait till the next project to show that I am able to work. First of all, the singing test is coming up. This weekend, Eva and I will practise our song we’ll sing. We are working on choosing a song but we constantly change our mind. This is what has been up the last couple of weeks. Christmas break has ended. MUSIC CLASS, bring it on J.
